Am I so blind that I cannot see what you want me to see?
As for what you think you see - it’s not for me.
Formidable isolation, the abstinence from truth
And the mockery of evil that becomes those who preach goodness.
More standing on the edge…
More dreaming of the paths that curve and evolve…
More forward thinking…
Why can we not be free?
My friends you practice ignorance and preach your innocence.
You mark your lives by pride and accumulation.
Turning a blind cheek to the rapid depletion of decency.
Forming your lives like a fur coat from a disappearing beast.
Are we beyond hope?
