Where can I go to be on my own? Where can I go to find my own throne?

I am trapped by the walls of my invisible prison. I am restricted by the rules of others.

-

I want to be free, I want to be free!

But these chains are holding me

I want to run, want to hide, don’t want anyone by my side.

I want to be free, want to be free.

But these chains are holding me…

-

My soul yearns to be on my own, my heart aches from the weight of others, who have taken advantage of my various colors.

My soul is black, and shall never change. They have made it this way; I can never be free.

I want to be free, I want to be free!

-

But these chains are holding me

I want to run, want to hide, don’t want anyone by my side.

I want to be free, want to be free.

But these chains are holding me…

-

Now I run with no goal; scorning all whom cross my path.

What can I do to ease my pain? Is there no one who will stop this blood bath?

I am on my own; I am my own.

No one shall rule me, no longer cruel to me.

My soul is now black, and shall never change. You have made it this way. I will never be free.

-

I want to be free, I want to be free!

But these chains are holding me

I want to run, want to hide, don’t want anyone by my side.

I want to be free, want to be free.

But these chains are holding me…
