Horrible

He picks up the phone
and dials her number
someone picks up the phone
and he hears
her screaming
a mans voice says "hello?"
he hangs up
and grabs the keys to his truck.

He starts the truck
he spins the wheels
and takes across town.

He sees a strange car
and hears an all too familiar scream
a chill runs down his neck
he breaks down the door
no words from his mouth
like that of a statue
tears fall from his eyes
from the sight he sees
like rain from the heavens.

a man walks out of the hallway
fixing his pants and belt
his glance turns to her
crying naked on the floor
her innocence taken
her cries and pleads for him to leave
do nothing but fuel the raging fire
in his eyes
The man laughs
he runs at the man
she screams
a gun shot echoes
the man drops
a hole in his chest
"never again"
