my affection is full of mystery even to me, full of
sliding a finger next to their's just to feel the skin trickling against each other,
pressing cheeks and lips together to smell and taste the emotion
thick and alive on their face, or just tracing the silhouette
of their nose and eyelashes as they watch a stereotypical high school scene unfold before their
lost-in-thought eyes.
to be honest I'm a bit incompetent when it comes
to expressions – with blushing cheeks and glinting eyes,
but I'm as blunt as possible with the tremors and syllables that spill
from my tongue as it dances behind my teeth.
