Attention, this is just an idea, supported by no facts whatsoever. Its just me, a normal person, trying to solve the problem of the US Dollar falling.

First of all. US Government, stop printing so much money, you idiot! Its simple economics. Supply and demand. Somebody wants something you have, or can make. If you make or have very few of those, people are willing to give you more for them. Using that logic, if we print less money, the value will go up. I suggest we print money slower, and we just stop printing it one week out of every month.

Second of all. We need to be energy independent. I read once in comparison between three types of political-economic systems, the rate of economic growth is a steady rate of 20-30 per year(based on the economic growth of the US in the 1800s and very early 1900s) on a capitalist free market economy, 2-3 per year on a socialist economy, and .2-.3 per year on a fascist system. Iraq, for example, prior to 2003 was on a fascist system, however the Iraqi Dinar was worth nearly three times as much as the USD. This was because they had so much oil. That said, the United States has more oil than the entire middle east. In Montana and North Dakota, there is an estimated 503 billion barrels of oil. At the current rate of about 119 per barrel, thats about 5.5 TRILLION in oil. Now in Alaska, there is something like for times that.

So, energy independence here we come? Not really. Because of all the environmental terrorists at Green Peace, Earth First, and ELF, we cant drill Alaska. Montana and North Dakota are already being drilled though, thankfully. If we just ignored said environmental terrorists, we would be energy independent in just a few years. Also, the price of oil, at least for us, would be something along the lines of 30 a barrel. At those prices, imagine what gas would be at. Just picture driving past the gas station, and seeing it below 1.00. Hell, just imagine seeing it below 2!

Dont get me wrong, I think we should use alternate fuels to. Thats why we should build new Nuclear power plants. Nuclear energy is clean, and safe, unless you live in the USSR. Its also cheap. Another option is solar. Nobody cares about solar though, because MSNBC owns millions in stock in it, and they suck. Coal FOR THE WIN! Coal can be converted into oil, easily, and the US is the worlds largest producer of coal.

If you think Ethanol is a good idea, then you're an idiot. 'Nuff said.
