Come to Me

Come to me, dear child

Let me hold you close

Don't worry, dry your tears

I'm here when you're alone

My voice shall calm you

My words shall bring you peace

Torment runs rampant within your soul

Let me help your wounds heal

Come to my arms, my child

My light shall warm your cold heart

Trusts have been broken

Used and abused, you have closed yourself off

(You don't even know who you are anymore)

Let me be the freedom you crave

I'll wait for your return

Until then, I watch over you, I bless you

I show you I am here

Through the little things and the big

Until then, I'll remain by your side

Come to my arms, my child

You are safe here...

NOTE: This is to God, of course. Throughout the course of these past couple of months, I realize God has still been blessing me, even though I've been ignoring him. Now, I have made the commitment to go back to church, read my bible and praise God for all the blessings he has given me.

Thank you, God.
