AN: Wrote this after driving home with strawberries in a bag. Wondering what people would think if I got in a crash and they found this random stuff in my car. What was I doing before I died? Kinda morbid I guess.

Before the eyelashes ever reach the bottom

It happens

It’s so anti-climactic

Just gravity taking control

Strawberries unaware

Thrown up into imperfect arcs

Sugar clinging to life

The metal is cracked and buckled

Never able to sort what is left behind

So many pieces of a puzzle that no longer exists

Can’t understand

No longer of value

The driver’s whole life summed up in a paragraph
