Old planet Gyrtu. A planet on which the continents are big floating pieces of land, way above the only ocean of the planet, called Rithux. Populated by gyrutians, elf beings that live in harmony with all life beings of the planet. Speaking to them as equal, since in Gyrtu, there’s only one main language that rules for all, so everyone can communicate, even animals.

It has three natural satellites, being the biggest of them, Cyrros, in tones of orange surrounded by a yellowish ring; the other two are equally small and that very rarely appear together in the same night. One in tones of soft baby blue is called Blyeuish, and the other is completely white, called Seyirgha.

The floating continents, called by their habitants as Gos, are mostly sandy like. There are a total of eight Gos. And each one has an Emperor Representative governing it and establishing the order and peace in all Gos, except for one that it’s inhabited.

Four of those eight Gos are sandy: Ultima, Arveja, Nadir and Gaol; two are mainly covered in tropical woods: Nova and Trópica; one is completely frost, and always snowing at night: Gajit; and lastly the inhabited one and completely unknown: Autha. Gyrutians believe that the 8th Gos is a chaos land, where everything was born and where everything ends. They even believe that it’s some kind of cradle of life and death together in one, and whoever goes in there, can never return.

Nova, where our story begins, is governed by Emperor Aradace and his two only daughters, Vaeros, the eldest, and Aqua, the youngest. Vaeros is his first wife’s daughter, which died two days after giving birth to Vaeros. She’s a very independent and somewhat snob kind of girl. She can be very cold at times, and not that friendly type in the beginning, but a truthful and loyal friend when the others deserve such thing. She is quite small (1,62m tall), fatty like legs, hips somewhat large, narrow waist line, small chest, narrow-shouldered, and with an oval and round face. Her hair is black with blue highlights, like the crows feathers colors, and her eyes are wide and almond shaped, the right one is of a very dark brown color with some red reflections, while the other is of an aqua bluish color, that show her true self; her strawberry colored lips usually hide a sweet and sincere smile. Aqua is the daughter of the second Emperor’s wife that disappeared without trace after Aqua made 2 years. She’s the other way around from Vaeros. She’s sweet hearted and easily hurt, for loving so much others and caring for them. So much that her bound with Vaeros can make her feel what her sister is feeling in that moment. Sometimes, though, she can be somewhat arrogant in her answers and cold when hurt. Electric and spontaneous she balances Vaeros and sometimes can make her quite mad. Aqua is a slender body typed girl, with all the curves balanced, wide chest, narrow-shouldered and narrow hips, slender legs, and thing waist line. Somewhat taller than Vaeros (1,67m tall) she is always picking on her for that. She has a dollish format face, with tear form greenish eyes, and small pink lips always showing a bright and wide smile, and her soft curly hair is brownish with some light-brown locks.

As for Aradace, he’s a warmed hearted father and Emperor that helps his servants and people as he can. Very optimistic, protective and a great ruler by nature. He’s a really tall man (1,96m tall), and quite muscled for his age (53). He has some really bright brown eyes, and brown short-haired already with some white locks of hair. Aradace doesn’t show a smile easily, unless he feel that that person deserves so. Usually he’s kind of distant looking to people around him, while on the inside his heart melts with anything his daughters ask for, or when his people is in need of his help.

It’s in the amazing planet that our story begins, the Silver Palace in Nova Gos, in a hot and beautiful sunny afternoon… Inside the main palace walls, the palace garden was filled with laugher and screams of children. Children that were carrying buckets of water and pursuing our two princesses all over the garden to throw at them water. The girls screamed and laughed at the same time as they were trying to run away from the kids.

As they ran they were getting tired and starting to breathe harder and harder, but the kids seemed to get more and more energetic instead of getting exhausted as well. Vaeros gave it a try to make them stop while she kept on running.

-Kalim stop!! Please! – she yelled back to a yellowed spiky haired kid.

-C’mon!! We’re getting tired! – completed Aqua, as she was getting paler and sweat from so much heat and running so much.

But the kids seemed to not want to stop the play. Vaeros kept running like crazy, even though she was feeling her throat starting to close as she tried to breathe, while Aqua, completely exhausted, fell on her knees. As she tried to get back her breathe, she suddenly gets caught with a full bucket of water, thrown by the only girl that followed her, which started to laugh at the spooked face of Aqua. As the little girl kept laughing harder at Aqua, she grabs her and starts tickling her.

Vaeros on the other hand, was being followed by three kids, and she knew that if she stopped now she could get a major bath, so she ran as faster as she could, but it didn’t seem to slow down the kids at all. Then, they ran close to the main gate, and almost knocked down a young man that had just arrived to the palace garden, and wasn’t seen by any of the presents. As he understood that he was “ignored” by everyone he smiled slightly and talked quite loud in hopes of being heard.

- I guess you’re having a really wild time here. – said the young blond elf, standing close to the gate.

When Vaeros heard that voice she suddenly stopped with a huge smile on her face.

-Ragoth?! You’re here…!! – She said as she was turning her head around to look at him, just in time to get a free bath. The kids had thrown the three buckets of water at once, without any mercy, almost drowning her.

Completely wet from the tip of her tip toe to the top of her head, she walks towards the kids wit a threatening look, making the two boys shake, except the little girl that was with them, that was smiling innocent and sweetly to her. Vaeros heart melted looking at the girl sweet face, and ends up smiling to her and holding her up on her arms. The boy s sighed of relief when they saw that Vaeros cooled down a little, thinking that she wasn’t mad at all, and that they were away from danger, when in fact, they weren’t. And so, Vaeros started to scold them, as she was really mad.

-Don’t you think that just because I’m not scolding Aryz, that you’re free from one real snub in no time!

-Oh c’mon Vaeros. Don’t be such a pain in the ass! You know that they were just playing. – said Ragoth cutting into the conversation to help out the boys, but in vain.

-So what?! I told them to stop back them! – Vaeros counter-argument quickly and harshly, making the boys shake once again, and Ragoth sighed. And leaned to the boys whispering.

-I guess that I cannot help’ya out this time guys…

The two kids lean their heads forward in despair and fear, making Vaeros think twice and to melt her heart a little more when the little Aryz looked at her again with that sweet childish look of hers.

-Sis… giv’em a chance…’kay? – she asked sweetly.

Vaeros sighed and gave her a slight smile, and then stepped forward to the kids, as she placed little Aryz on the ground again, next to them.

-Ok… I’ll forgive you this time… - she said with an understanding tone on her voice.

-Thanks Sis!! – said Kalim with a wide smile, preparing himself to hug her in a jump.

-Go before I change my mind over… - finished Vaeros in cold tone, just to scare them out.

The children set free to the fountain laughing and screaming again, followed by the other girl that was with Aqua, and together, they all jumped into the water splashing each others. Aqua, seizing that opportunity started to walk towards Vaeros and Ragoth, waving to him while she walked.

-Hello, hello! – she said as she got closer to them both. – What are you doing here?

-Well… I was just walking around, and then I asked myself if the two ladies would like to take a walk in my company. – answered Ragoth smiling.

-Really?! – Vaeros inquired with a big smile. – I’d love to!

-Well, I’m sorry to take that offer down, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to let the kids alone in here. – answered Aqua with a quick excuse, as she blushed.

Vaeros smiled, and tried to contain her laugher as she heard Aqua’s excuse, while getting close to Ragoth, giving a soft nudge on his arm.

-Riiiiiiiigh little sister… We know. – said Vaeros with an enjoyment tone in her voice, as well in her face.

-What do you mean with that? – inquired Aqua embarrassed, and somewhat angry.

-Me? – asked Vaeros starting to gesticulate a lot. – Nothing!! Eheheh.

-It’s ok Aqua… I got the idea. You’d rather wait here for Hoon than coming along with us. – finished Ragoth with a grin.

Vaeros not making to control her inner laugher any more laughed a lot along with Ragoth, making Aqua more and more embarrassed.

-Oh, don’t be so meany… - she asked as she blushed more. – I’m quite certain that if you had someone to wait for, you’d also do the same as me… And I know that you would!

Ragoth looks at Vaeros, which shrugged her shoulders and shacked her head slightly, and he smiles back at Aqua.

-I really can’t deny that… but if I can have such a nice company from you both, I guess that makes me quite happy. – he said with a honest smile.

Vaeros, without knowing why, blushed a little, but didn’t say a word. Then, Aqua smiled, turned around a went to the fountain, to be with the kids, that managed to grab her and pull her into the water. Ragoth and Vaeros smiled and he placed his arm around her shoulders.

-Shall we? – Ragoth asked softly to Vaeros that nodded immediately to his question. And so they walked through the main gates of the palace, out to the Nova forest.

Still inside the palace, inside the fountain, meanwhile Aqua splashed water and played with the children happily, a young elf, with a long, and curly dark brown hair, and brown eyes, approaches the fountain, and quietly sat on the berm of it with his legs inside the water, so he could stand looking at them all. In the meantime, Aryz notices the good-looking elf that was standing about two meters away from her. The child smiled widely and starts trying to run to him, with arms wide open.

-Hoon!! – yelled Aryz, happily smiling to him.

Hoon smiles back at her and catches her in a tight hug. When Aqua listened to that name, she suddenly stopped splashing on the water, and stood still.

-Hi there little one! – said the young elf putting Aryz down.

By now Aqua was sure of who the elf was when she heard his voice that sounded like music to her ears. She turned around looking right into his eyes, showing a radiant smile of happiness, looking at him like a child. She walked forward to him, and they stayed in a sweet silence, just looking deeply at each other.

Somewhere further from the palace garden, Ragoth and Vaeros were taking their walk around the Nova forest close to the city walls. They talked and laughed as they were walking until their usual spot. An area in one o the end points of the Gos. An abysm, were they could stare at the vast ocean and horizon, watching the birds fly freely in the soft and clean hair. Vaeros, staring into the nothing and everything of the landscape in front of her, sighed deeply, and her face expression turns into a distant look.

-…my sister’s heart is getting more and more imprisoned to Hoon’s… - she said with a distant voice.

-She’s living! – Ragoth replied. – And if she’s happy, you should be happy for her.

-And I am happy for her… - she said in a sigh. – Believe me that I am. I like to see her happy, even more by knowing she’s in good hands…

Ragoth smiled and softly lays a hand on Vaeros shoulder, while she kept on looking forward, to the sky, enjoying each cloud and each grey tone of those. Ragoth, moments later of a Royal-Eagle swifts through his vision field, took a deep breathe, and looked at Vaeros almost with a fraternal look.

-What about you? – he asked. – When will you make me happy for you?

Right after this question, he looks at Vaeros with a curious look, waiting for a pleasing answer. Vaeros looks at him from the corner of her eyes, in a sharp intrigued look.

-Huh? I didn’t understand what you mean…

- You keep on loving in secret… - he commented smiling.

Vaeros instead of smiling, as Ragoth would wish, kept a closed face and walked forward freeing her shoulder from his hand. She, then, sighs and looks back over her shoulder, without turning back to Ragoth, and looked directly to his eyes, with such a serious look that if he didn’t knew her, he would probably think that she wanted him death in that exact moment.

-I don’t love anybody! – she said in a dark sumptuous voice, that almost made Ragoth shake. – I’m a free spirit by nature, and I don’t intend by any means to get my heart imprisoned to nobody’s!

With this said, she turns her head forward, leans it back a little closing her eyes, enjoying a soft breeze touching her skin and hair. Ragoth stood still for some moments, and did not move even a single lash, but he was also enjoying the breeze, looking at her with a confused look. He couldn’t understand what was going on with her. It was too weird for him that Vaeros didn’t want to love.

While she kept on enjoying such a breeze, Ragoth took a chance to sit down close to an old tree, with a strong and wide trunk, and wide leafs that gave a soft shadow all around itself.

-I didn’t thought you’d be like that… - Ragoth sighed sadly.

Vaeros lowers her head and turns around to Ragoth with a confused look upon her face.

-Like what?...

-I dunno… weird… - he replied while trying to find the right words to express what he was thinking as he saw his friend acting weirdly like that.

She seemed not to understand what Ragoth was talking about at all, and her confused expression was getting worse and worse. He took a deep breathe and shacked his head lightly, finding a smile to give her.

-Never mind…I just… I’m just not used to see you like this… - he said with a sad and worried look on his eyes.

Then he smiled sweetly at her and raised his had to her, so she would get close to him. Vaeros finally smiled to him, but she didn’t got why he raised his hand, and so she did not move, and kept smiling.

-Come here. – said Ragoth, sat on the floor, leaning back to the tree trunk, with his arms open to her.

Vaeros then got close to him, and sat in front of him, in the middle of his legs. As soon as she leaned back a little, he hugged her tightly and she held one of his hands. And then Vaeros looked forward, gaining again a distant look, sighing a lot.

-Ragoth…? Who owns your heart? – she asked with a childish look on her face.

-Why do you ask that? – he asked quite surprised with such question.

-…I’d just like to know…who are you imprisoned to…

As she said that, Ragoth freed a strong laugh, and then stroked her hair softly, after realizing that she was kind of surprised with such a sudden and weird reaction. He smiled and answered calmly, like a dad to a young baby daughter.

- I can’t exactly say that I’m imprisoned, Vaeros…. Since that’s not how I feel… - Ragoth explained in a soft tone.

Vaeros expression suddenly changed to a sad one, and staring at Ragoth, with her eyes showing that she was really looking for a concrete and credible answer, she asked:

-…how… how is it like?...

-How’s it like to be with someone…without being or feeling imprisoned? – Ragoth completed the sentence with a tender smile.

-…hmm… I can’t…understand…

- I’d love to be able to answer you such a question… but that’s an answer that you’ll have to figure out by yourself…

Ragoth kept on smiling to her, as it pleased him to know that Vaeros was questioning about the “love” subject, of what was being with someone, to know what that feeling really was like. But Vaeros, on the other hand, didn’t smile, and leans her head forward closing her eyes.

-…then… I’ll never know what it is like… - she said with a taciturn voice.

Ragoth, keeping a father-like smile, pulls her to him, hugging her tighter, and places his chin on her shoulder.

-Believe me… you will.

Ragoth kissed her cheek, making Vaeros smile a little and softly touching his face, without looking directly at him.

A/N: So... this is the first chapter of my original story... This will be mostly in Fantasy and Romance genre than any other. I'll be adding some action here and there but nothing big, since I'm not that good at imaging fight scenes and write them ;

Anyhow... This is my first Original Story... So please, if you don't like it don't flame me. I'm not asking for everyone to like it. I'm only hoping to see reactions and some good critics and tips. So as I said NO FLAMMING!

Anyhow... I'm sorry for my repetitive vocabulary, but my mother language ain't english, but portuguese (although I prefer writing in english...), and I'm sorry for any orthographic errors.
