“Man who is ignorant of fear is courageous,” father says
I don’t think I ever knew
Anyone as wise as my father
But I still question his courage and all men’s
Instance in war when men fight
And confront their enemies
They seem so indifferent
Cold-hearted as they kill
Ah, they may think themselves secure and cautious
But fear of being overpowered by their enemies
Always floats within their minds
Some men continually think about fear
And nightmares become reality
Until they almost lose sanity
Sometimes it drives them to death
Others are able to withstand the pressures
And fight bravely through the bloodshed and frustration
They acknowledge the fear that killed their comrades
But they still are strong willed and bear anything
That crosses their path including hell’s fire
They march on until there’s nothing to fear on the battlefield
Those are the instances of fear and courage that I knew
But there is another fight for justice
Tight-fisted, heads held up high as the public voice opinions
Arousing the attention of concerned fellow citizens and government
Attracted and stand behind the strong
What cowards will fall?
