I lay in bed, with peaceful dreams

When the moon is out, with soft silver light

I hear your voice call gently

A whisper in the night

I listen to the Siren’s song

It sounds as sweet as a lark

I heed your gentle callings

A whisper in the dark

Your sweet perfume is so alike

To a field of wild flowers

These things together to strong to resist

A whisper in the black hours

I follow your calls, your song

With every step I draw near

Then I wake up to the moons silver glow

A whisper in the darkness clear

That is all you are to me

Now everything is clear in the light

You’re just a dream, not really here

A whisper in the night
