A Single White Rose

A Single White Rose

A single, white rose

A symbol of love, of hope, of us

A symbol of that I feel

A love so pure, free from lust

A single, white rose

I carry to remember

You hold to your heart

From May until December

A single, white rose

I give to you to share

With your heart, with your mind

To place in your silken, brown hair

A single, white rose

A symbol to show you are shining pure

Your purity, so comforting, so sweet

Makes my love for you so sure

A single, white rose

I share with you, along with my heart

Along with my soul, a touch of lips

This begins, with you, a whole new start
