Cliché and Addiction

by, Cassandra

And in the end, you’re just like everybody else.
Once you strip away the unique and different,
all that’s left is cliché and addiction.

Funny how words always lose their meaning.
Funny how time never heals your hurting.
You broke the record time for losing yourself.

And what’s left of you now?
