So Innocent

It all seems so innocent

It was so easy

All she did

Was help herself

It wasn’t affecting others

No one seemed to notice

And every time

It just got easier

There was no urge

To stop at all

She kept it up

And hid all the marks

It was all so innocent

It seemed so easy

Her eyes never

Drowned in tears

For she had found a way

A simple release

Now she looks back

And begins to wonder

Was it worth it

Or was it all

Just a waste?
