I heard the voice of an angel today,

A voice that came and became my savior.

He saved me from a whirlpool of darkness

That I had been drowning in for years.

He opened my eyes to the beautiful reality

Of the world’s joys and hopes,

For even in the midst of pains and sufferings,

There is a shining light.

When everything around me was crumbling,

He became my support and my sanctuary.

He enfolded me in his pure, white wings,

And whispered words of promise and protection.
