Thine tears hath come and rolled down thy cheek,
Love you I do, so tenderly deep
Why my love are you so meek
As to neglect the truth and leave me to weep?

I shall hide behind this mask,
Composed of lies, hatred, and deceit,
So that our love remain captured like wine in the cask
Because like everything else it will at one point become deplete

Must I confront my fears to which I submit?
Must I release the captured bird of my heart?
Or shall you be my treasure which I choose to omit
To live till the demise like a lemon, too tart

Is it better to fear what feelings we are bestowed,
Or to give my resplendent heart to you and see it corrode?
