The Whereabouts of Alec

The Whereabouts of Alec.

Disclaimer: I do not own any anime mentioned.

Me: Hey I’m finally starting this story. I’ve had this idea for weeks but now with the right motivation (there is none except for a deadline) I’m writing it out.

Music: I Don’t Wanna Beat Around The Bush

Me: Two or Three chapters may be up before Friday (due date) it depends.

Someone: Fox Trot, Uniform, Cable, Elo!

Me: Shaking her head and turns up her music let’s begin!

Authors Note: Burgundy is a purple red.

The sun was shining and a light breeze made her black skirt rustle around her lower thighs. She switched all the bags into one hand and drew a hand over her dark blue eyes and looked up at the clear blue sky. She watched a cloud float by and she smiled showing her white teeth. Another light breeze again blew her skirt but blew her loose burgundy hair as well.

She stopped and put the bags down on the ground in front of her. She slipped a black hair tie from her wrist and pulled her hair back into a low ponytail. She picked up the bags up and made her way home, her shoes barely making a sound along the sidewalk, the music from her Mp3 player playing so she could barely hear a thing.

Her father, a tall man with black hair that was normally slicked back was at the dining room drinking in the dark. He had not taken the death of his friend very well. He hadn’t been to work in about a week.

Her mother, who she resembled so closely, was in her room quietly packing as much of Alec’s things as quick and quietly as she could. She had heard her husbands drunk ramblings and didn’t like them she set the cases outside the window and she put them into the car. She would take Alec away till her husband got better.

Alec walked in through the front door

“I’m home!” She said cheerfully.

She was always happy to be home. Her and her parents never had any real problems, they understood and talked things out then made judgments.

Alec’s father stood up and stumbled to the door frame of the dining room and looked at his daughter before him. He wondered why she reminded him of his friend, maybe it was her always determined attitude to do things and cheery disposition.

Alec walked over to her father putting her bags down on the couch first. “How was your day father?” She stopped in front of him. She smelt something was wrong. Her eyes quickly averted from his to scan the dark dining room.

Her father smacked her across the face leaving a dark red imprint.

“Dun looook awai fram meh!” His words slurred.

She let out a little yelp and held her cheek, the tears brimming. That’s when she realized something was wrong, her senses heightened as she focused on the situation. She could smell it, it over powered her nostrils, the smell of beer and alcohol. She took a step back from her father and he reached for her greedily.

The mother threw the last suitcase into the car and ran back and jumped through the window struggling a bit before she was panting on the floor for a few minutes.

Alec stumbled over the couch falling backwards over it. She could feel fingers going through her hair softly and she relaxed, her eyes were cast down at the wood floor. The fingers violently grabbed onto her hair and yanked her head up making her scream, she wiped her eyes quickly not wanting her father to see her tears.

Her mother heard the scream and scrambled up from the floor and rushed down the hall way and into the living room where she saw her husband’s hand in Alec’s hair yanking and sneering at her while saying degrading things. She shouted at him and he looked away from Alec. Striding over to her husband she tore his hand away from her daughter’s hair and pushed him back with such force he stumbled back into the wall in a daze.

She picked up her daughter and helped her out to the car. She combed her hair quickly and ushered Alec into the drivers seat

“Drive to the address in the GPS. Become a part of the convent. I’ll come for you” She said hurriedly and gave Alec a quick kiss on the forehead. And ran back into the house.

Alec started the car and put it in reverse. She slowly pulled out of the drive way. She never questioned her mom. Her mom always did something for a reason and never just because. She put it in drive and pressed lightly on the gas and she headed down the street. The car’s automatic voice started up,

“Would you like some music?” It was programmed in some guys’ voice she had never heard the car sound like.

She touched the little touch screen and some music started up, it was an old rock song singing about only the good die old.

End of the first chapter. Hope you liked it so far. She forgot her presents . Aww man. Oh well I guess

Someone: Give me an Oreo!

Me: sighs God Damn It THEY ARE MINE!!

Someone: backs our of the room

Music: I toss and turn as I sleep at night….
