A/N: My high school's Arts Festival was this week, and my CP English teacher wanted us to write " I Am" poems to display in the show. Basically, all " I Am " poems follow the same format. First, you have to pick one or more things that describe you, then base the whole poem around that topic(s). They must all follow the pattern of I am, I wonder, I hear, I see, I want, I am, I pretend, I feel, I touch, ect, and this is what I came up with. It basically describes my position in high-school society, and how it's hard to break through the "clouds", all the other people in school, and make yourself be seen and heard. I am the sun behind the clouds

I wonder if I'll ever get the chance to shine

I hear the voices that drown me out

I see the faces that float before me

I want to stand above the rest

I am the sun behind the clouds.

I pretend to be indifferent

I feel like a fish out of water

I touch the sky where my dreams lie waiting

I worry that I may never reach them

I cry when my light goes unseen

I am the sun behind the clouds

I understand the strength of light

I say what I believe in

I dream of a world full of magic and love

I try to patient

I hope the skies will clear soon

I am the sun behind the clouds.
