A/N Another Death By Poetry Challenge with Ki-riseup. Inspired by a picture by Jade-edge on Deviantart called 'Remember me'. And yes, I'm aware that the title is beyond stupid, but I couldn't think of anything. If you can think up a more fitting title, please pass it on to me. You can rest assured I would change it in a heartbeat.

I turn my head from the light
And watch how its beams paint
Lines over me;
Revealing and concealing
Depending on the sun's position
And mine...

... and yours.

It paints lines on you too,
Though not as much
You're still too far away.
And yet, if you stepped closer
You'd see me more clearly too
As I would see you

Would you dare it?

My gaze turns to your form
As you stand there
And I watch,
And I wait,
And I hope.
