Though the evidence surrounding her body

Opposes what her expression is telling you

And the peaceful look on her face

Is suggesting otherwise

Yet it can be seen with your own eyes

The truth behind the steps it took

The footprints are outlined in the red water

Leading away from the results of their coming

And behind them they left what made it happen

A gun dressed in red

A knife coated in scarlet

Like the color of her dress

Like the hue upon her lips

As she smiled for one last time

Her hand is clenched together

Her fingers overlap to cover what’s within

A chain made of gold

Attached to a tiny locket with a note inside

Expressing her apologies

And her undying love for you

It seems those drops of blood had fallen

Too early for you to know

Too quickly before you arrived

A second faster than you could think

And you didn’t know when you saw her

That she didn’t really die

In your mind she’ll live on

In the memories of her family

In the past she will remain

In the hearts of others she will dwell forever more

But not in yours

Because she took with her something important

She took your heart

A/N; This is actually a whole story which I will later post on my profile/bio. It's 11:43 PM right now, so I'll do that tomorrow. xD
