Wishes

Wishes are what I make

When I dream of you

Wishes to hold you in my in my arms

Wishes that my love was enough for you

Wishes are what I pray

When I feel my soul for you aching

For the touch of your skin, of your lips

My heart slowly shattering, destroyed, breaking

Wishes are what I use

When the pain is just too great

For my heart and mind to beat

Despair seems to be my fate

Wishes are what I seek

To try and fix the past

To repair what we had done

When it all happened much to fast

Wishes are what I crave

When I need to feel your love, your touch

When I need someone who cares

When I crave you so much
