Reflection in the Summer

Oh, look at the Sunshine.

Summer startles tired eyes

I've been in the dark so long.

I'd forgotten life, now I feel so real

We look different. Without Winter.

Oh, blue sky's, contrast

My mind. I remember,

an innocent summer long ago

Fill me with the hope of forgotten

Childish wishes. You fulfil me.

Oh, I want to get better.

I decide, I have so much to live for

And if I try, I could make it

Last Forever. Don't wanna close

My eyes. I am so full of light.

Oh, things are looking brighter.

Even I, look less dead in the sunshine.

I laugh, breathe in forgotten colours.

Inhale, this is beautiful

I think I'm ready to be real again.
