In loving memory of Frank B. Goomansingh
1925 - 2008

The threads of your life unraveled too fast
No way to stop it, you just can’t fight fate
The world keeps turning
And you just can’t make it stop

You said don’t cry for me
When I’m gone ‘cause
I can’t stand this anymore
I just want to be free
Know I’ll love you forever more
Don’t cry for me…

Knew we had to let you go
But it wouldn’t be easy
Spent those last days by your side
Trying not to be selfish and greedy
Praying God would take you peacefully
To his garden of
Beautiful souls

You said don’t cry for me
When I’m gone ‘cause
I can’t stand this anymore
I just want to be free
Know I’ll love you forever more
Don’t cry for me…

You hung on, as long as you could
But your time came
As we knew it eventually would
Nothing could prepare us, for losing you
Your bright eyes and happy smile
Never again would we see

Oh the tears did fall that day,
For the loss of you
Though your words will live on,
Now a beautiful memory

You said don’t cry for me
When I’m gone ‘cause
I can’t stand this anymore
I just want to be free
Know I’ll love you forever more
Don’t cry for me…
