a bittersweet memory lost in the wind,
it teased your senses before it left,
leaving you with a tingle in your fingers,
a sour taste lingering your lips.

you would always regret it, and never forget.
you loved it with only half heart.

a bittersweet memory lost to the wind,
you've forgotten already,
but everytime the branches shake
on tree you both carved you names into,
a sped up heart rate always occurs.
