Exam 1) Latin Language

We tell ourselves it’s only Latin
It doesn’t matter: denying our fear.
We know what it’s not of course –
Not maths, nor English, nor sciences
So it’s not important for our futures –
A way to crush those squirming stomachs
Into still submission. We’re not afraid.
