I thought that maybe

I could have a

Happily ever after

Like in the fairy tales.

But that’s all they are

Fairy tales.

There is no such thing

As a happily ever after.

We write them

We dream them

But they don’t exist.

I still wish I could have one,

But then again

I also wish

That you weren’t dead.

But in both cases

I know

My wish isn’t

Coming
