The stars delight us in the darkness.

But, the light we see is dead and gone.

We’re waiting for the world to see,

The colours of a bright, new dawn.

The flower petals wilt and dry.

The sun forever sets.

But, moonbeams see the best in me.

I live with no regrets.

A/N: Be kind. This was written ages ago. I was a poetic noob.
