I stood at the crossroads,
and I didn't know
where to go.
Left or Right?
It all looked the same
to me.
Either way,
there would be
death and disappointment,
as well as
love and light.
Indecision gripped me
with an iron fist.
Oh, to be
in my position,
and to know
what a wrong
turn would bring!
Terror. Torture. The Unknown.
Nevertheless, I must plod on.
