Behind The Veil

Come to thy midnight

Allow the darkness to consume the world

Only for a while

Let the veil be lifted

And the people allowed to see reality

That life's not just black and white

That there are some gray areas as well

Reveal to the world that there isn't just good and evil

There are half lights and half lives

The moon is

Rising

Light and darkness together

Moonlight revealing the blue hue

Which is the grey area

Come to thy bleeding heart

I reveal to you the truth of life

The lesson all humanity must learn

The purity and the darkness

The half truths and half lies

Shooting stars are lighting across the sky

Moving on in which we should follow

Be aware of our surroundings

And don't hide behind the veil forever
