After a Swing Dance

They jumped

and they jived

they were having fun

Both loved

the fast pace dances

they loved moving quickly

loved being out of breath

loved having fun

And that's exactly

what they were doing

But then the

music slowed

They stopped jumping

and moved closer

to each other

He laid his arms

around her waist

She laid her arms

around his neck

She nestled herself

against his chest

and he held her

tightly

in a warm

embrace

and gently kissed
