The Dress

She came down the stairs

and he couldn't look away

The light shone off her hair

so brightly

making it look just like the sun

And her blue eyes

were shockingly bright

and seemed to look

right into his soul

Her lips were untouched

no makeup

and looked as beautiful

and as perfect

as ever

Her rosy cheeks

lightly pink

showed she was happy

and her radiant smile

made him want to

follow her lead

and smile too

He held out his arm in a

gentlemanly fashion

and stated

“You look wonderful”

without even noticing

the gorgeous dress she wore
