The Nameless Poem

The Nameless Poem

I sit in my playing my guitar

Wondering where everyone went and how far

Stupidly strumming the strings till my fingers bruise

My mother sits at home planning a cruise

It makes absolutely no sense why I do this

While my sister and her ‘boyfriend’ sit in her room and kiss

The annoying wet sounds of lips separating and connecting fill the place

I’ve tried to convince my father to rid of the nutcase

It’s been long since I spoke to my old friends

Some relationship, I thought it was never to end

Its 8 pm and I’m now sitting in my dad’s bed

With the owner lying next to me resting his head

I laugh as the guy on the t.v. finally gets the out of his nose

And as the crazy grandma starts to dose

Yeah it’s pretty stupid, what I do on these rainy days

But spending sometime with the family has never gotten too many ‘no ways’!
