Author Notes- so yeah

Author Notes- so yeah. Here is chapter two. Remember to tell me if you spot any typos. The only time I have a beta is when I coerce a friend to read. I’m didn’t quite realize I’d been spelling Grahams name in the last chapter as Grahm so yeah. It’s actually Graham. Anyway. Enjoy. Or don’t.

“Riley! Wake Up! You’re going to be late!”

Amy rolled over and snuggled further into her bed. It was too darn warm to wake up.

“Damn it, brat! Get your ass up now! You will not be late for school!”

Amy’s groggy mind tried to process what was going on but all her brain was receiving were snippets about school and someone named Riley. Who was Riley? She didn’t know anyone named Riley. And why was some unknown voice yelling about school? It was Saturday. There was no school on Saturday.

“Riley! Come on. It’s your first day!”

Seriously. What was this person talking about? First day? School started 3 weeks ago.

“RILEY!!”

Amy squeaked as the covers were pulled from the bed. She sat up instantly, though her eyes refused to focus. She heard a slight snicker but by the time she could see properly all she caught was a retreating back. Amy frowned in thought. Who the heck was that? There was no one with a back like that in her house. Actually, there was no one who would even come to her room to wake her up. Neither of her parents cared. This was…weird. And speaking of weird, Amy’s frown became deeper as she realized this wasn’t her room. It was smaller for one. And the walls were all gray with maroon trim. What the hell was going on? She distractedly ran a hand through her hair. And froze. Her hair was definitely not that short. Now was it that soft. No really, what the hell was going on? Amy looked down at herself and closed her eyes. This was not happening. This had to be some odd dream she was having. It had to be. Opening one eye slowly, she stared at herself. Please, please, let this be a dream, she thought to herself. Nothing happened. Again. “Riley, you getting dressed?” Amy still had no idea who that was but she was thinking she had more important issues on her mind. Like the fact she was now in some guys body.

“Umm yeah” She frowned at the sound of her own voice. It was husky. Not at all what she was used to. Amy sighed. This was all so confusing. She crawled out of bed slowly, looking around the room for a clock of some sort. 6:30 am? It was supposed to be Saturday. This was lame. She should not be going to school on Saturday. Why was she going to school? Amy walked toward a dresser, knowing that that was where she’d find clothes. She was about to open a drawer when she caught sight of herself in a mirror. Was that really her? Amy turned her back on the dresser and faced the mirror. She was cute. Adorable, even. If Amy as Amy had seen this boy walking down the street she’d had an impulsive urge to just hug and cuddle him. As it was Amy frowned. She becomes a guy and one of the best descriptive words she could come up with was pretty? Why couldn’t she have been hot? Like Eric. Dead straight brown hair, messy from a bad case of bed head, bangs pushed to one side, oval face, seemingly pouty lip, eyebrow piercing and hazel eyes. Definitely a bit feminine looking. Maybe that was the female Amy peeking through? Amy started snickering to herself but immediately stopped. She needed to figure out was going on? Why was she some guy she had never seen before? What happened to her real body? How had this happened? Was this some dream? But most importantly, why was it school? On a Saturday. Amy rolled her eyes a herself. Mystic crap happened and the worst part to her was the missing weekend. Obviously her priorities were screwed up.

“Any day now, Riley.” Amy didn’t bother answering. Instead she left the bedroom and looked around the hallway. There were 4 doors and an archway that she figured led to the living room and such. She made a guess about one of the doors and opened it. A bathroom. Perfect. Just what she had been looking for. She closed it behind her, turned to the toilet and dropped her pants. Ah hell. Amy had forgotten the most obvious difference between girls and boys. She stared at the hanging extremity, wondering what the hell she was supposed to do. How did it work? Amy poked at, then pulled her hand back quick. That was strange. She touched it again, watched it swing. Then gave it a quick stroke. Ooh. Ok. No more touching. She may not have much sexual experience but she knew that feeling. And she wasn’t about to deal with that. Not when she wasn’t even sure how to take a piss. Amy wondered if she could piss while sitting. She really had no freaking idea. Wasn’t like she’d ever watched a guy pee. How creepy. Amy rolled her eyes at herself. Forget about it. She didn’t have to go that badly anyway. And when she did, maybe, hopefully, it’d come naturally. Amy grabbed the only toothbrush by the sink, hoping it was Riley’s, and started to honestly get ready. Who knew being a guy was this difficult. She was only grateful she hadn’t woken up with an erection. Imagine that. Amy’s cheeks stained red at the thought. Oh. And what if she got one during class or something? She’d heard that guys dicks were unpredictable. Oh please let her get by this day easily. She finished up and left he bathroom. Her mind still whirring with thoughts of what to do in case she did get an erection. What did guys usually do? Ignore them and hope everyone else did too? Amy tried to remember if she’d seen any guys get erections during class or such. She glanced at the clock when she entered her room again. 7:10. Crap. She’d better speed things up. Amy walked back toward the dresser she’d been going to before. She shimmied into some dark blue jeans. Good lord. She didn’t know who Riley was but did he have to wear his jeans so freaking tight? And the shirt was just as tight. Even as a girl, Amy hadn’t been fond of tight clothes. Go figure she becomes a guy who’s girlier then she herself was as a girl.

“Yo brat, let’s go.”

“Coming!” Amy yelled back. She stuffed her feet in socks, followed by slipping into some black converse she found by the closet door. She ran out of the room, through the hallway and into what was most likely a living room. From the view she could see from the huge bay window, she seemed to be in an upscale apartment. Amy looked around. It was so different from what she was used to. In her old home the living room was cold, with only a picture of her parents from their wedding day. There was no life, no personality. This living room on the other hand was filled with pictures. It was welcoming and warm. She wanted to go around and look at the pictures, try to see if she might get a glimpse into Riley’s life.

“Dude what is wrong with you?” Amy glanced up. Woah. If it weren’t for the fact she knew they were related, by their similar appearances and a few pictures she could see, she’d jump him. He was hot. Though he appeared more muscular and manlier, he looked just like her, or him. Man this was confusing.

“Riley, what the fuck?”

Amy blushed and looked away, “sorry”

What was most likely her older brother rolled his eyes and opened the door, “Whatever, Let’s go brat.”

Amy took one more quick glance at the pictures, filled with curiosity. Wonder what happened to her parents? Were they still in the picture? Amy shrugged subtly to herself. She’d try to figure out the answer if it didn’t come to her some accidental way.

“So why are you in such a weird mood? Nervous about a new school?

Amy shrugged again. “I guess. I don’t know.” Amy eyed the car they seemed to be getting closer to. A AMG Mercedes Roadster. For real?

“Are you going to get in?” Amy looked up startled. Her brother was looking at her strangely, his door already opened. “Umm. Sure.”

“You are so odd.” Amy flashed him a grin and carefully got in the car. Her parents could never afford a car like this. She tried to subtly pet the soft leather seats. She wondered if it would make her stranger if she cooed over the car. Or maybe played with all the buttons. She didn’t think she wanted to find out.

“So um, what’s this school called?”

“Bridgepoint Academy.” Amy started coughing. What?! She was going to the same friggen school? God, she had so been gypped by whoever did this to her.

“Yeah I know. Private school. I understand Aunt Lacy sent you to public school but I don’t trust the ones around here.” Amy frowned. This sucked. She was going to have to deal with the same kids, same drama, and same crap. Lame! Amy sighed. She’d just have to get over herself. That was quickly becoming her motto. She ran a finger over her eyebrow piercing distractedly. “Yeah don’t worry. They’ll be cool with the piercing.” Amy wasn’t worried about that. She already knew the school was lenient with the dress code. Why else would there be that chick with the toxic blue hair? She was worried with having to deal with the same situation she thought she had just gotten out of.

“Yeah great.” Amy watched as the school got closer and closer. Kids were already lolling around talking. She bit her lip. She really was back in the same situation she had started in. Lonely and uncool. And to make it worse, she was going to be the strange new kid. Amy’s eye grew wide with sudden realization. This was her second chance! No one knew her or anything about her. She could be whoever she wanted to be! She might possibly even get friends. It couldn’t be that hard.

“What’s got you happy all of a sudden?”

“Just realized I could be anyone I want.” The brother, she really needed to learn his name, rolled his eyes but Amy noticed the small smile playing at his lips.

“Why don’t you try being yourself first?” Amy shrugged. She really couldn’t be herself because she wasn’t Riley. She was Amy in Riley’s body. Who knew how Riley behaved? Though to be perfectly honest, the brother hadn’t been acting as if Riley was totally out of character.

“We’ll see.” The brother’s soft smile became a full-fledged grin as they drove up and pulled to a stop in front. She could see a few kids eyeing the car in boredom.

“You’re such a brat. Good luck, kid. I’ll pick you have at 4.” The brother ruffled Amy’s hair. Amy mock glared at him but got out and waved to him, biting her lip as she watched him drive off. Taking in a deep breath, Amy turned to the red brick of her old yet new school. Was she really here? Again? She let out a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding. She was here again. Sort of. She was Riley now. A new kid. Infinite possibilities. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad after all?

A/N: Alrighty. That’s it for now. I’m sorry for the slowness. I should hopefully get the next chapter out soon. I’m currently staying at my parents house in Ireland and there isn’t much to do in this one-horsed town. Anyway. Review. Thanks. D
