We hold our breath waiting for tomorrow, waiting to know

Almost certain yes and no

Is my heart beat as loud as it seems to me?

What will happen either way?

Then I leave anyways, another uncertainty

Can it last like this?

What should happen between now and then?

Will we be strong enough?

How can it die so quietly with so little impact on the future?

That’s how most things end though, so what makes us think its something special?

Well I don’t want it to ever end. It won’t end. I won’t let it.

We’ve come too far to just let it go

So much has been endured

This just cant be the end of the line
