She was so lovely.
With her innocence.

Her beauty shined so bright.
Like the stars.

Her anger was an hourglass.
Time was running out.
Before she would explode.

Her heart was glass.
So fragile.

Everyone took advantage of her.
No wonder why she doesn't trust.

Maybe that's why she downs herself.
No matter what I say about her.

She's heard it before.
Now it's just another thing said to her.

She wonders why I envy her looks.
Mind.
Love.
And careless nature.

And I will forever envy her.

Like she envys my mind.
Or confidence.

But she is so much greater.
Hopefully she will know that.

I look up to her as a rock.
A model to go by.

All that she has been through.
I could never imagine.
But she still stands tall.

I could never look at the light.
Like she did.
Just to get to the other side.

All I hope for is that she understands.
Knows why I love her.
Look up to her.

She makes me fear.
For her.
And everything she says.

I can't do anything about it.
But tell her things that she probably doesn't believe.

So...please understand.
That someone does care.
And still thinks of you.
