Hehe I'm finally back!!

I'm sorry that I've been saying how horrible it is!! I'll admit it's not my best work, but it sure isn't my worst (okay, well, maybe it is...But I still enjoy it!!)

Anyways, point is, it's a lot better than I've been making it out to be! I hope you guys agree!!

So, school sucks (already) I have 2 Ds and I'm usually an honors student (not quite high honors) and its the first three weeks of school. So, school work being my top priority, I'll update much more often then I did before, but seriously, It's going to be taking me a while to update anything...just giving every one a heads up.

Friday:

OMG today is the dance!! OMG I AM SOOOO EXCITED!! Why the heck didn’t you guys help me with a costume?! I ended up going to Iparty and got a 50’s styled outfit with a red skirt with a poodle embroidered on it. It looks ADORABLE on me!! I’ll give you some pix before I go to the dance! Well, need to head out to the bus! ttyl!

Angeline got on the bus and expected to see Eric there, sitting in his usual seat but was surprised when she saw he wasn’t there. Angeline just thought that he had missed the bus; after all, she missed the bus often back home in Kansas.

But when she went into homeroom, she found his seat empty. Where is he? Will he still be able to take me to the dance? Or is he sick? I wish I had thought of asking for his number or even his e-mail. Wait! That’s it! I’ll e-mail him using his Masconomet e-mail! Hopefully he’ll get it by the end of the day!

And so, for the rest of the day, Angeline kept her thoughts on sending Eric and e-mail, wondering if he was still up to the dance.

Again homework was light. Only Mrs. Ryan and Mr. Morris gave them homework—homework packet section three and work on rough drafts, which Angeline could do in a few seconds so it didn’t bother her. By 3:00 she was done with the required work and started getting into her costume.

Before she put her costume on though, she had a light, but filling dinner that gave her a ton of energy.

She gobbled that down in a few seconds. As soon as she was done, she went straight to her room and got into her costume. It looked even better on her with proper lighting! She put her hair in two pigtails. While she was getting her pigtails perfect and matching, she was warming up the curling iron. Once the pigtails looked good straight she curled them with the iron. That took a while to get the perfect-coiled curls. When she took a look in the mirror she almost didn’t put make-up on until she took a closer look and saw that she had a lot of blackheads. With that, she put on some light-tan base and a natural pink colored blush. For Mascara she used her waterproof clear stuff that was also long lasting. For eye shadow she did a bit of red that was mixed with gold that gave it a natural red-but-not-quite-pink color. After taking one look in the mirror she knew she was good to go out into the world. She looked straight out of a fifties picture!

Soon, at six O’clock the trick-or-treaters came and she was to serve them. It was definitely a job to keep her on her feet.

But, as 7:00 PM loomed nearer and nearer, she began to doubt Eric would show, until, at 6:47, a knock was heard from someone who wasn’t a trick-or-treater (they only knocked once, instead of the never ending stuff she got every other time that evening). Angeline forced her mom to get it while she went upstairs to do final touches. Of course her hair hadn’t moved and inch because she must have used a gallon of hair spray. But her make-up needed touch-ups, nothing major. In a matter of seconds she was ready as her mother called to her, telling her Eric was here. Angeline tried to make her entrance dramatic, but it didn’t quite work out because she tripped in her shoes. Of course that sent her blushing, but it couldn’t be seen because of her make-up.

“Wow. You look…Amazing,” Eric said.

“Thanks,” Angeline said. What he said just sent her blushing an even darker color red.

Eric was going as a Vampire. He had the fake fangs, pale skin, black cape, red shirt and black pants. Over all, he looked just like Dracula.

“You do to,” Angeline said.

Her mother decided to interrupt, “Okay, you too! Time for pictures!”

And so, the couple posed for lots of pictures, including one where Eric pretended to bite Angeline on the neck and Angeline pretended to faint with fear. But of course, if Angeline was to faint then, it would be because of nerves or hyperventilating or getting light headed. But she didn’t. Soon, thankfully, they were done with pictures, but her mother of course had to meet Mrs. Mason.

That went by pretty quickly and soon the two were on the road heading towards the school.

The dance was crazy. It looked like every kid in the seventh grade was there, but of course she couldn’t recognize anyone with their costumes on, just like her. The party was already started when Eric and Angeline got there so they didn’t have to wait to start dancing.

The song that was playing when they got there was “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Fergie. Angeline and Eric walked right to the dance floor and began dancing. The two were the same height so no one had to look down at the other. Angeline had her arms wrapped around Eric’s neck and he had his wrapped around Angeline’s waist. After a good moment or two, Angeline broke the silence by asking, “Where were you today? I was worried that you had gotten sick and wouldn’t be able to make it. Why didn’t you call me?”

Eric replied, “It’s healthy to skip school once in a while, though my parents tend to enjoy decorating our house last minute, and so, every Halloween I have to help them decorate for night. I usually stay home that day to help them. I’m sorry I worried you. I should have told you, I just forgot that you hadn’t lived here for a while.”

Soon that song was done and “The Great Escape” by Boys like Girls played and everyone was dancing again.

About and hour and a half later Eric said, “Do you want to go to a different place; One that I love to go whenever it’s nice out?”

Angeline was suspicious. She thought she could trust Eric, but she hadn’t known him for long so she couldn’t be sure. She knew self-defense so she was sure that if he were to go evil on her she could get away and her voice was loud and strong so she could scream real good. “Sure,” she ended up saying.

Eric smiled a great smile that showed off his straight, perfect teeth. “Come on,” he said as he led her to the doors of the cafeteria. He took her towards the entrance they go through when they got off the bus. Then he led her towards the forest that was to her left. Angeline was starting to regret her decision. After a few minutes, a few boys were following them. Angeline was getting even more uncomfortable as she took more and more steps leading her from other people, witnesses if anything happened to her.

Suddenly it became too much. Angeline said as she stopped walking very abruptly, “Eric, I trust you, but where are you taking me and why are they following us?!”

Eric could see her worry and anticipation to his answer and said, “They’re…Friends of mine. I hope you aren’t upset that they’re following us. I trust them. And I swear they won’t hurt you. I won’t let them lay a finger on you. And we’re going to a place I like to go to when it’s sunny out. You’ll love it, though it might look better in the day time. But either way, I’m not sure I’ll be able to show it to you in the day time after I show you what I’m about to.”

This got Angeline even more confused and scared. Sure, they wouldn’t hurt her, but would Eric, Eric the one who friended her when no one else had? Eric who was the one who asked her out, even though she was the new girl? Eric the one no one liked? Was there a reason to that? Or did they just get a stronger feeling in their gut while they were around him than she did? Who knew?

After a few more seconds, they were in a forest going on an invisible trail to her. The mysterious boys were still following them.

After a few minutes, Angeline saw a lighting in the forest. Excited, she walked faster and faster toward the light. Eric effortlessly followed her, never stopping smiling.

When she got to where the light was she gasped and stopped in her tracks. It was gorgeous. There was a small waterfall and a little pond on the other side and inbetween the two was a meadow. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Also the perfect spot for them to kiss, though she knew that was going to be a mere daydream with the four following them and nearly bumping into her. Almost immediately Eric growled. He really Growled, like a dog or a wolf, with the sound coming from the back of his throat. That shut the four up quite quickly. It also got Angeline terrified silly.

She froze in place, eyes wide, back stiff straight. She tried to breathe, but forgot how. All she could remember from that night was the menacing sound and the look in his eyes, how they quickly changed to a wolf’s.

“Angeline…Please…You need to understand…” Eric began, but Angeline was backing in the opposite direction, suddenly realizing why he had taken her there: to kill her and have a meal.

Angeline just shook her head, trying to concentrate on getting away from him. She was about to let out a scream; Opening her mouth, but before she could get a peep out, Eric was at her side and had a hand over her mouth.

Angeline’s legs turned to butter and she collapsed. The last thing she remembered that night was Eric’s voice saying, “Please, Angeline, you need to understand. I told you I wouldn’t hurt you and I never back down on my promises, please…”

Hehe yeah that was...eh...Not my best chapter ending...Anyways, before I post the last chapter, I have some SERIOUS editing to do...um...I was reading one tiny paragraph...and...I decided I'd throw vampires into the mix...and...god...it just sucked...I'll be deleting that (sry vamp fans...)
