Velocity

Life, the roller coaster

A bumpy ride

Seems slow but goes much faster

Too fast to slide

Its hills and loops and banking curves

One can't portend

And still one shouts "Hell, what a ride!"

At its end.

Life, the racing go-kart

Eats the track

And as it speeds, one understands they

Can't turn back

One's hair streams out behind them

Wild and free,

Abandons wheel and brake, and shouts

"WHEE!"
