Name: Imitate Art
Rating: G
Summary: Another one of my random dabbles.
XXXX
An actor’s life is not supposed to imitate their art.
It’s an their job to play roles, define characters, and make an audience relate, but rarely get entrapped in the same snare. They’re not supposed to be the victim to the cliché. They’re not supposed to confuse life with fantasy. They’re not supposed to divert the media from the central interest.
Yet, it’s the most common practice.
Things happen. They become lost in who they’re told to play. They covet the man or woman they’re playing. Fights break out. Icons are born. Co-stars fall in love.
The bottom of the list is unexplainable. The third party blames it on too much personal time; too many hours spent bonding with whoever is in the room. Rumors spread, gossip transfers. In a split second what was once a clandestine courtship is blown across front pages, capturing the attention of those who have no say. Sometimes it’s not real, but reality can be easily confused.
It as if the story continues long after the cameras stop rolling.
