Dedicated to you.

She supposes that good old fashioned dreams

have to make up for realities lack of seams

as the path she follows has no foot steps

riddled with nostalgic memories and regrets

as the path she follows is really a cliff hanger

just a dead end known as best friend lovers

that become strangers.

Let's fly to the moon my sunshine boy

Stop making me feel as though I'm your only joy

When every move you make is an oxymoron to your speeches

So me, myself, and I will pick up our remains on loves lonely beaches

And I bet that somewhere there's an ocean with no other side

And I bet that somewhere there's a heart that doesn't have to hide

And I see hate as only broken loves way of saying I love you still

Broken loves way of making this mountain into a mole hill

And hate really is all I have for days like this

Hate that I took for granted that one final last kiss

So here I am wondering if you even really miss...

Me.

Picking iris's by moonlight and catching the midday train

Let's run and get caught in our favorite lightning storms rain

Pretend we can weave different shapes out of the clouds and stars

Paint windows without me, leave me bruised and covered in scars

And I see hate as only broken loves way of saying I love you still

Broken loves way of making this mountain into a mole hill

And hate really is all I have for days like this

Hate that I took for granted that one final last kiss

So here I am wondering if you even really miss...

Me.

She supposes she can close her eyes extra tight

And maybe, hopefully, someday everything will be alright

That somewhere there's a fire beyond the skies

Where that long lost airplane shipping love flies

So hang your head baby, it's okay if she cries

It's okay baby, she believed all your lies

So hold your head steady, this isn't you happy ending

You better get ready 'cause this heart can't take much more mending

And I see hate as only broken loves way of saying I love you still

Broken loves way of making this mountain into a mole hill

And hate really is all I have for days like this

Hate that I took for granted that one final last kiss

So here I am wondering if you even really miss...

Me.
