Burn my tongue

Burn my tongue

With the things we trap inside

Release is like a fresh breath of air

Dying for exposure

Living for tomorrow

Can you see the things that matter?

Can you see the eyes get sadder?

How can life leave us in tatters?

Who is the righteous and who is the wrong?

When it all collapses, who’s still standing strong?

Is it all that we can defend?

That leads us all to the end?

Memories, memories, wait for more to come.

The sensitive few are so tolerant and the

Unfortunate ones are so unseen.

The harsh and the loved are utterly completed.

When do the relentless get depleted?

Oh, you are the window outside the bars,

And I am the door behind those walls.

See the past as if the future

Because it helps to be prepared

for the confusion ahead. .
