The Reason

She’s drowning
Desperately trying to pull herself up
Indecision is the reason she keeps on swimming
And she wonders if it will ever be enough

She’s falling
Frantically trying to slow herself down
Discrepancy is the reason she keeps on flailing
And she fears when she’ll hit the ground

She’s choking
Hysterically trying to keep herself alive
Uncertainty is the reason she’s not breathing
And she can't find an incentive to survive

She’s dying
Desperately trying to stop herself existing
Ambiguity is the reason she keeps on trying
And she wonders why she ever resisted.
