Adieen sat in the parlor of her home staring a new issue of iHome and Garden/i. She was just about to turn the page when she heard "Mommy!"
Adieen looked up to see a little girl of about nine years old with green eyes and light brown hair run into the room, her pig tails were bouncing as the little girl ran to her. "What is it, Faith?" Adieen asked.
"Lucas is picking on me." She told her, "I told him to leave me alone but he wont."
Adieen sighed and called out, "Lucas!"
Several seconds later a little boy of about nine came in with the same bright green eyes and light brown hair. "I didn't do anything! Faith is just being a big baby." He said.
"Am not!" Faith yelled at him.
"Are to, cry baby!" Lucas yelled back at her.
"Lucas James and Faith Marie! What did I tell you both about arguing with each other?" Adieen scolded.
Both of them remained quiet until Lucas said, "Well she's being a cry baby."
"Lucas don't call your sister a cry baby." Adieen told him.
"But--" He began.
Adieen but him off, "No buts. Now tell your sister your sorry."
"Sorry." He grumbled.
"Like you mean it." Adieen told him.
Lucas sighed, "I'm sorry Faith."
Adieen smiled and said to Faith, "Now what do you tell him?"
"Apology accepted." She told him.
"Good. Now both of you go and play nice." She said kissing the crown of Faith's head before she ran off.
Adieen smiled and returned to her magazine right when the front door opened and closed. "Adieen?" A man called out.
"I'm in here!" Adieen called out before putting her magazine down standing up when a man entered the room. She smiled at him before going to him and kissing him. "How was your day."
"Tiring." He replied tiredly as he wrapped an arm around her waist. "Where are the kids."
"Well, Alexander, your children should be upstairs playing nicely with each other like I told them to." Adieen told him, "But seeing your son and daughter are just like you I doubt they will be."
Alexander laughed, "Well its not my fault." He told her, he would have continued but the two children ran into the room.
"Daddy, Lucas called me a cry baby earlier." She told him.
"Well, she was being a cry baby." Lucas told him.
Alexander shook his head, "Don't call each other names and play nice with each other." He told them.
"I do play nice but then Faith cries when she looses a game because she always says I cheat but I'm just better at it than her." Lucas said.
Adieen shook her head and sighed, "how about you don't play a game and we get grandpa here to play something with both of you."
Both pairs of the green eyes grew wide with excitement, "I want to see Grandpa!" Both of them said in unison.
"Alright then." Alexander said, "I'll go get him and tell him." He told them before there as a bright flash in the room and he disappeared.
"I get to play with grandpa first." Faith said.
"No I do." Lucas said.
"You got to last time." Faith told him, "Mom tell Lucas I get to play with grandpa first."
"How about you both play with him. I bet he wants to see both of you." She told them.
Several seconds later a bright light flashed and Alexander appeared with Lucifer. "GRANDPA!" Both children said happily and launched themselves at him.
Lucifer chuckled and hugged them both. "Have you two been being have?"
"Yes!" They said, laughing.
Adieen just watched her father with both of her children while they laughed and hugged. Adieen sighed and then went into the kitchen to start supper and Alexander followed her in. "Something wrong?"
"No." She said with a smile.
"Your dad seems happy to see the kids. He hasn't seen them since Luci since their birthday."
"Don't call me that!" Lucifer yelled from the living room and they heard their kids start laughing hysterically.
Alexander rolled his eyes and Adieen said, "I know and I'm glad they can see him."
Alexander rapped his arm around her waist and pulled her to him, giving her a deep kiss before setting his hand on her belly and saying, "So when are we going to tell your father and the kids about the newest addition to our family?" He whispered into her ear.
Adieen giggled, "Well I don't know, soon I guess."
Alexander chuckled, "Your father will probably threaten to castrate me again." He stated with false despair.
"Oh he wouldn't do that. We both know, as much as he does, that he loves it when we give him grandchildren. Besides, Faith would love to have a little sister."
"Its going to be a boy, love." Alexander told her.
"And how do you know?" Adieen asked.
"Gabriel told me." Alexander beamed, "We are going to have a little boy."
"Alright then." Adieen told him kissing his cheek before pulling away, "I vote we tell them now and see if we actually give my father a heart attack."
"Oh, that old geezer is going to be around when Our great-great-great grandkids have kids and we both know it." Alexander told her. "But I agree lets go see what their reactions will be."
Adieen smiled as she grabbed Alexander's hand and pressed a kiss against his knuckles, "I love you, Alexander."
"I love you too, Adieen." He said setting his hand on her cheek. "I wouldn't know what to do without you and if it wasn't for you God only knows where I'd be." Adieen smiled and he said, "Your my angel." Then he dropped his hand from her cheek and they walked into the parlor hand in hand.
