Deathly Pretend

A dim night of quiet isolation

when a mysterious presence is here,

Several soft sounds are often heard near.

The jagged shadows of aberration,

Marked by foreign words of consolation

Confuses thyself with counterfeit cheer.

The words and lies are truly not sincere

And the hope and faith are false elation.

The deceit invented is so contrived,

And the cheerful speech is deathly pretend.

The trite lies that were devised should finish

With only truth and bliss to have survived.

The drastic damages and rips should mend,

As the moon overhead would diminish.
