AN: Characters in this are based upon friends of mine and the story deals with Love and hate, betrayal and friendship. So, here's the first chapter.

The Kingdom of Eldorr and the Battle of Drach

It was just another boring, average day in school. Missy sat in her Maths classroom next to her good friend, Kirra. Missy was average height, just as most of her friends were, with long black hair and blue eyes. She was a goth, again, just as most of her friends were and she had a few issues but didn't like talking about them to anyone. Kirra, on the other hand was a very happy person, with average length blond hair. Also Kirra was not a goth but she was one of the few people in the friend group that Missy could trust.

Missy and Kirra sat at the back of the classroom insulting their teacher and generally being bored. It was too hot to concentrate on maths in Missy's opinion and it was harder when their teacher rambled on about nothing important. Missy picked up her pen and started to draw on her jotter cover. Kirra looked at Missy.
"Hey, guess what?" Kirra said cheerily. Missy didn't repliy but nodded to let Kirra know she had Missy's attention. "Me and Dan almost kissed. I really like him." She continued with a big grin on her face.
"Cool. Ask him out." Missy replied bluntly and continued to write song lyrics on her jotter. Before Kirra could reply the bell rang. Missy happily collected her things up and bundled them into her bag all the while muttering, "Thank god".

Missy and Kirra waited outside their classroom for Autumn to walk up to them and for Clover to come out of the classroom they were waiting outside of. Autumn was a very cheery person at times. She had a blue Mohawk and classed herself as a punk. She was lucky enough to have a devoted boyfriend, Smith. They had been together for over a year and were still mad about each other. It was hard to get them separated from each other. Most people envied them. Clover was of mixed race with an Asian appearance. She had dark hair and was a huge flirt. She could be a good laugh at times but she was really bitchy and has betrayed most of the group at one point.

Once the four of them had grouped up they walked down the what seemed to be never ending amount of stairs and walked to the quad of the school where they all met for breaks and lunch. There they were greeted by Skye, a cheery person with a great sense of humor. She had black hair and wore baggy clothes, and Sora, tall for her age with short black hair and an obsession with corsets and musicals. They exchanged hugs and Autumn ran over to Smith and hugged him. Clover left the group to talk to Destin, her boyfriend, short for his age of 16, being two years older than the rest of the group. He had long dirty blond hair. Skye, Sora, Kirra and Missy all stood in a small huddle.
"So Missy. You and Silver then? What's happening between you?" Skye asked. Missy looked at her, a smile growing on her face at the mention of Silver. He was a great guy that Missy had a thing for. They had hooked up a few weeks ago.
"Oh nothing. Decided to get to know each other more." Missy replied. Skye giggled at this.
"I believe he already 'knows' you." She laughed before she ran off. Pretty soon the bell rung out letting everyone know that it was time for another set of classes. Missy sighed, hugs were exchanged and they headed off in their separate directions. Missy's thoughts of Silver made her walk through the corridors with a smile on her face.

The next two periods were more dull than the first two were. Missy sat quietly in her classes, listening to her Ipod with one ear and the instructions given by the teacher with the other. She sighed slightly and her thoughts returned to Silver. Missy smiled to herself at the thoughts than ran through her mind. The loud ringing of the school bell brought her back to reality. She packed up her school supplies into her shoulder bag, grabbed her hoodie and threw the bag over her shoulder. She smiled at her teacher on the way out of class. Missy met up with Sora and Kirra in the quad and they headed off to lunch letting the others catch up.

Everyone had just gotten out of the school gates when suddenly a huge black cloud rolled over them, which was unusal as it was bloody roasting and there was not a cloud in the sky. Missy stopped, by doing this she caught the attention of the group. Clover looked at her.
"Oh c'mon Missy. I wanna see who is at the bench so I steal their hat." Clover whined. Missy, along with Autumn and Sora, rolled her eyes at Clover and looked up at the cloud. Then there was a strange growling noise that made the group panic slightly. Autumn was clinging to Smith and Kirra, Sora and Missy huddled together. The roar from the sky came again then there was a huge powerful crash and everything shook. The ground cracked and the school gate rattled from the force. The group looked through the iron gate and saw something that nobody has ever saw before. A huge black and orange creature, it's arms were about the height of Missy herself. On it's huge black hands were spikes about 12 inches long. It had bright orange eyes and teeth as sharp as razors. It turned and looked at the small group of goths that stood outside the school gates. It roared at them, it's breath stank like the dead. Autumn screamed and buried her face in Smith's neck. Smith grabbed Autumn's arm and dragged her away in the direction of the town. Upon seeing this the creature roared again and started towards them. The group all turned on their heels and then started to run towards the town also.
"Awesome!" Exclaimed Skye, still standing in the same place. Missy stopped and looked at her.
"Missy, Skye c'mon!" shouted Clover. Missy waved her hand at Clover to tell her to go, that she would deal with Skye. Missy started toward Skye when someone grabbed her arm. She spun round to see who it was. Steven, Skye's on-off boyfriend.
"I'll get her. Go." He said then ran over to Skye. The creature was at the iron gates about a 100 yards away from Skye. Missy stood in the one place and watched it. Fear had gotten her glued to the ground. Her heart was in her throat. Steven ran over to Skye and swooped her legs out from under her and carried her away bridal style, with her kicking and screaming that she wanted to watch the creature. Missy was still unable to walk or even move. The creature was moving closer to her and there was nothing to do to stop it.

"Missy! Missy!" A voice from behind her yelled. The creature roared at her. It moved closer and Missy heard footsteps from behind her. Her breathing became heavy and she was panicking more than she thought she should be. The creature now stood in front of her and it raised it's huge paw-like hand and before Missy could understand what was happening, she was thrown through the air. The person that had called her name caught her and they both toppled to the ground. Missy turned her head around to see who her saviour was.
"Silver!" She exclaimed as she rolled off him. The creature roared at them and up-rooted a nearby tree.
"Shit" Muttered Silver as he and Missy got to their feet. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her away from the now armed creature. Missy looked at him and smiled. Soon they were at the chip shop were the group went for lunch. Nobody was there apart from them. They stopped and the ground started to shake.
"Silver. If we don't..." Missy started but was soon silenced by Silver's lips on hers.
"Shh. We'll make it. I promise you." And with that he took her hand and pulled her into an alley before the creature got to them. Silver pushed her into a corner and he kissed her softly. Missy wrapped her arms round him.
"I'm scared." She whispered.
"I won't let that the thing hurt you. Not again anyways." He whispered back to her, placing a hand on her face where the creature hit her. She flinched away slightly as a sharp pain attacked her senses. They kissed again and Missy closed her eyes. She felt weak.
"Missy!" Silver yelled as the girl fell, almost hitting her head. He sat down and lay her head on his legs.
"Missy. C'mon, wake up." His voice worried. There was a loud roar and a then a huge bang. The building that Missy and Sliver were hinding behind started to come crashing down. Silver leaned over Missy and covered his head.
