A Lesson In Intersecting Lie, And Why I Choose To Die

It is indeed in times like these

That I am pained by memories

Though by savoring every moment

There is little left in me

Oh, the lives we share together

A half a pint of vodka down

The times are everlasting

I wonder if you're still around

When you sang your song on stage

I knew that this was meant to be

Our loving souls would parallel

You said such words to me

And here I sit uncomfortably

Your arms are still around me

With a wordless pushing of me away

I guess I'll leave reluctantly

By your own heartfelt admissions

Our love we'll feel forever

Always I'll be here for you

Thank you for our lives together
