Love Gone Wrong

By

Little Black Piano

--

Fallen through broken glass

It’s amazing how I found the time to pass

In an instant it’s all gone

But still you can’t understand what went wrong

--

Don’t try too hard

To bleed from an opened wound

Love cost nothing

If you pay the price too soon

--

I got nothing from everything you gave

I tasted the air from the lungs of the breath you saved me

The cold that left me nothing but warmth

Is a piece of evidence of a love gone wrong

--

Twisted round a beautiful lie

Memories sunken yet so undefined

Then you wonder is it really enough

I wake with the enemy of eyes wide shut

--

Don’t try too hard

To bleed from an opened wound

Love cost nothing

If you pay the price too soon

--

I got nothing from everything you gave

I tasted the air from the lungs of the breath you saved me

The cold that left me nothing but warmth

Is a piece of evidence of a love gone wrong

--

(Love gone wrong)

Wake me

Wake me up now

Slowly the sleep

Is about to drown

Confession is the essence

To make amends

But that’s all it is

When you want to pretend

--

I got nothing from everything you gave

I tasted the air from the lungs of the breath you saved me

The cold that left me nothing but warmth

Is a piece of evidence of a love gone wrong
