The time is near and the feeling is right.

It’s the special moment described in books
It’s the special moment portrayed in movies.
It’s the time when everything should slip into place
There should be no hesitation, no misgivings.

But the books did not describe the waiting
The wondering, the pondering, the last minute butterflies
And the movies did not show the tension
The worries and the determination to get it right.

In the end it’s all on impulse
On that sudden, brave decision
In the end it’s all on you
Not the books and not the movies.

Because when the time is near and the feeling is right,
Just go for it.
