Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, Mirror
Tell me true
Can anyone compete with the likes of you?

You exaggerate the flaws of all
Laughing as you watch them fall
Into the cycle of self-hate and disgust
For you know in the end we all turn to dust
So you care not in the least
Oh Mirror, you are a foul beast!

To turn attention to the outside
And bloat the selfish vanity and pride
And cause to fall the insecure
And make us focus on sexual allure.
You are a clever, cunning foe
But Mirror, oh Mirror! To sink so low!

So watch me closely, see in my hand
The power to stop you, at my command
I simply throw this stone your way
And for your crimes you quickly pay
With shattered silver pieces of you
Mirror, across the ground you’re strew

Mirror, Mirror
I’ll tell you true
I can compete with the likes of you.
