Mafia Mistress

Chapter 1: The Deal

William Heartly, a young man in his late twenties, sat slouched in a chair in front of Kenneth Sims desk in Kenneth's Sims Study and in Kenneth Sims Beverly Hills mansion.

William's two employees Thomas Winston (William's right hand man who took care of his affairs) and Alan Rooney (William's personal body guard) both sat on two different couches facing each other.

William sat in a chair across from Kenneth's desk impatiently drumming his right hand fingers on the arm rest of the chair. His navy blue dress shirt was ruffled from his slouching along with his black dress coat and pants. William's short dark brown hair was the only thing in place, gelled back and out of the way.

William was the very powerful mafia leader of the second most powerful mafia family in Beverly Hills, the Sims family was the first most powerful. Ever since William's uncle - who was the leader of the Beverly Hills based Heartly Family before William - died when William was 21, his father, Maxington Heartly who ran the head base in Britain, had decided that William was old enough and well prepared to run the Beverly Hills based family by him self. More then eager, William took his fathers offer and had been running it ever since.

Twenty minutes ago William was spouse to meet with Kenneth Sims for reasons of which were never told to him but he suspected. The night before a phone call had been received in the Heartly estate from the Sims Family. The call saying that Kenneth Sims wished to meet with William Heartly as soon as possible. With the new issues rising in the air of the world of the Mafia that would eventually affect everyone, William had automatically assumed the meeting having to do with that.

Now with his patience on the brink of being lost in the vast archers of 'never coming back', William got up and tried his best not to head toward the door but to walk around and find some way of occupying him self. He walked out on the balcony behind Kenneth's desk to look out at the grounds of the estate but that did not hold his interest for long. He turned and walked back into the study and eyed the doors, debating weather or not to just leave when a oak framed photograph of a young woman on Kenneth's desk caught his attention. William strode of to Kenneth's desk and picked up the picture.

The young woman in the photograph was to young to be a wife or anything of that relation. William had heard that 18 years ago Kenneth's wife had passed away while giving birth to their daughter, so this must be her. The daughter he never talked about as if she never existed. Nobody even knew her name. It was so obvious to everyone that Kenneth blamed his daughter for the death of his wife, though she had no control over that.

The woman in the photograph whom William assumed to be Kenneth's daughter, had long chest length dark brown hair that brought out her blue eyes which were tainted with a hint of green. Unlike most girls in that lived in California who soaked up the sun very change they had, the young woman in the photo had creamy porcelain skin. Her dark rosy lips were small and peaked up on her top lip. Her face was small and slim with a defining jaw line. From what the picture showed of her upper body she had a suitable breast size for her frame.

William couldn't lie, even to him self. She wasn't a skinny inhuman like model resembling the women he usually surrounded him self with, but that didn't mean that she wasn't drop dead gorgeous. A sincere smile took form of his lips. She was real with natural beauty, curves, and imperfections. Lately he had been feeling a lonely panging need for companionship of the long term variety, preferably the forever kind. He wanted someone to hold and care for and someone to wake up to every morning for the rest of his life instead of a cold and empty bed. Someone who could keep him happy.

Now that he was really thinking about it William realized that she had all the qualities he wanted in a woman, especially the kind that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Unlike most women he spend his time with, she looked like she could actually carry on an intelligent conversation with out taking bathroom breaks to freshen up every 5 minutes. She looked like she had opinions to be spoken and feelings to be cared about. She just seemed...perfect. With the kind of face he would never get tiered of waking up to in bed every morning for the rest of his life.

Soon his trail of thought lead him off track to a dark place, a mischievous smirk playing with his lips. The darker side of his mind began to dominate, thinking of all the different pleasurable ways he could prove to her that she could and would be the only one for him, ways to prove his devotion to her, and soon love. He would have to make a note to meet with her. Though it wouldn't be very hard for him to remember. With the way his thoughts were taking him he would be leaving the Sims Estate with a painfully hard reminder of the young girl. He would also have to make a note to take a cold shower once he got back to his estate.

Kenneth, who had just previously entered the room walked over to stand beside William who was staring at a picture that had been originally sitting on Kenneth's desk, the only picture on Kenneth's desk.

The only reason why he had a picture of his god or shaken daughter on was as a remind to never forget what she took from him all those years ago.

Kenneth stood beside William - who still had not realized Kenneth had entered the room - and noticed the mischievous smirk playing with the ounger mans lips and the glazed over far away look in his dilated eyes. Kenneth raised his head and looked foreword with an evil grin. 'Perfect'. He thought. "Her name's Kimara. And yes that is my daughter."

William could feel his heart rate increase even more but this time not from his dark and pleasurable thinking, but from the sudden appearance of Kenneth. He didn't let that show though. He just looked to his side where Kenneth stood. "Humph." William noted the amused grin of satisfaction that Kenneth was wearing and it sickened him.

The grin of amused satisfaction was for finding him looking at a photograph of his daughter the way he has been. The man truly didn't care what happened it his daughter.

William looked at Kenneth with curiosity, then back at the photograph of Kimara. 'Kimara.' He repeated. 'Kimara Heartly.' He smirked. 'It does have a nice ring to it.'With his smirk still smoldered on his face, William set the picture of Kimara back down on Kenneth's desk and took his seat. "Kimara." He repeated aloud, liking the sound of her name even more as it passed through his own lips. "How old is she?" He asked casually, his British accent more identifiable.

"Seventeen." Kenneth answered, while taking his seat behind his desk.

William grinned, nodding thoughtfully.

"Well, shall we get down to business then?" Kenneth asked tilting his head.

"Yeah. Get on with it." William agreed, settling back in his chair.

Kenneth smiled at the yyounger man and nodded. "Mr. Heartly, I'm not going to waist my time sweet talking you with some long and pointless small talk. So with that out of the way, the reason why I called you here today is to alliance with you. There is something unsettling in the air of our business and it's only getting worse. Even a blind man could see what's coming Mr Heartly. Now I know that I may not win the personality of the year award but I am one hell of a business man, anyone can give me that. It's why I'm at the top. The reason why I want to alliance with your family Mr Heartly is because you have good potential. I can see that you have what it takes to bring your family to the top someday, where I sit. I enjoy our compaction and I very much wish you to still be here after this is through. I have no doubt that you can make this through on your own but I can see that if we alliance we can eliminate some of the other insignificant computation. Besides for what's coming anyone would have to be insane not to alliance."

Kenneth was right about everything and William knew it. It would be incredibly dangerous not to alliance up with another family. As much as William despised the man he knew that it would be the best decision to take Kenneth's offer.

But as hard as William tried to keep his thoughts on the task at hand they kept straying as side to the previous subject matter, Kimara. Young, innocent, and luscious with a father who hadn't a care in the world for her well being. A young helpless 17 year old girl with a powerful mafia leader for a father who blamed her for his wife's death. William could think of a dozen wrong scenarios to go along with that. And with what was coming, if anything happened to Kimara it would not affect Kenneth what so ever. He knew that. She wouldn't be safe with him. She wasn't even safe with him right now. Then like a candle being lit, a brilliant thought formed in William's mind. Then in no time at all that thought grew into a plan. And what a wonderful plan it was.

William grinned a cocky grin and sat foreword in his chair. "On one condition." He commanded.

The edges of Kenneth's mouth quirked up. "And what would that be?" He asked hoping the answer to be what he had been waiting for, and raised his head.

"Well." William began , standing up and wandering around the room still with his cocky grin. "It seems to me that you have a bit of dead weight that your carrying around on your shoulders, and I'd be more then happy to take that weight from you." He knew that the condition was no incontinence for Kenneth, that wasn't the reason for his triumph at all. "Kimara." He said at last. An over whelming weight drifted off his chest at just speaking her name. He was so close to having her...having her as his. And he knew that she would be. He knew that in only a matter of minutes Kenneth would agree to his condition and after that it would be only a matter of hours at the least before he could begin to per sway Kimara to give into the plans that he had for them. Oh and what dark and pleasurable plans they were. Plans that would not hurt her - no , he could never bring him self to even think about hurting her - but plans to cherish her, worship her in every way imaginable and possible. "I get Kimara." William went on. "As...my mistress, I suppose you could put it." He lied. His plans for her were much more then that. They went beyond that of a mistress. The plans he had for her weren't as low on the scale as a mistress was but he had to make Kenneth believe it. What an embarrassment it would be if Kenneth found out that from just looking at the picture of Kimara, William was already head of heels for the girl, and that his intentions were deeper then they seemed.

Kenneth stood up and walked over to William. He smiled and held out his hand. "Deal."

Once they went over the details and finalised the deal, William made his way through the house to the ground floor sunroom where a maid had told him Kimara was.

All he wanted was to met her for the first time. William really had no idea when or how he would tell her about the deal or when she was going to move in with him. He wanted time for them to get to know each other so she could see that he wasn't the enemy. But he also wanted her out of the Sim's Estate and away from Kenneth as so possible. The last thing he wanted was Kenneth finally stepping into Kimara's life after 18 years, because if Kenneth did then it sure as hell wouldn't be for the best.

William rounded yet another corner and made another left. Only one door in the hall was opened. He soundlessly peered inside and saw a young woman lounged on a sofa reading a book. Kimara. He grinned and made his way into the room and stood behind the woman. He couldn't help but stand silent for a few minutes and read over her shoulder with her. After a while he shook his head. "Even a blind man could have seen that coming." He commented.

Kimara gasped and leap to her feet, her book dropping to the floor in the process.

William chuckled and walked around to the same side of the sofa where Kimara standing. He picked up her book and handed it back to her, wearing a kind smile. "Sorry love, I didn't mean to scare you. Habit I suppose."

Her heart was still beating a million miles a second, but as a warm blush heated her checks Kimara realized that part of the reason was standing right in front of her. "That's alright. I guess I just scare easily." She smiled and took her book back, their fingers brushing in the process causing the heat of her checks to rise. "I really should work on that." She muttered to her self.

William laughed and held out his hand. "William Heartly." He introduced.

Kimara held out her hand. "Kimara Sims."

William took her hand and brought it up to his lips, his eyes never leaving her. "It's a pleasure to meet you Ms Sims."

Kimara took a sharp intake of breath, her eyes never leaving his as she felt her own heart beat in a way it never had before. No matter how hard she tried to form words her light head wouldn't allow it. "Kimara if you'd please." She finally managed with a smile.

William nodded. It would be his pleasure to obey the request she asked of him and any other that she had for him. "Kimara." He agreed.

"Not to be rude but is there something I could help you with?" Kimara asked trying to settle down her butterflies.

William shook his head. "No pet, I was actually looking for you. And now that I've found you I'd like to ask you to have lunch with me tomorrow."

Kimara looked at him taken back. All her feelings were put on hold and her smile fell. "Heartly, William Heartly, leader of the California based Heartly mafia family." Kimara recalled. She sighed knowing that it was to good to be true. She knew from experience that nobody in the mafia cared about anything other than the work they had to do. They weren't capable of caring about anything other then their place and job. "Look I don't know what your playing at Mr. Heartly but I can assure you that I want nothing more to do with...this business then I already have. I know for a fact that anybody in this business wants nothing more then what they desire and will take it at any cost, even if it means hurting an innocent life in the process." She paused and shook her head. "And I want nothing to do with that anymore. I will not be a tool or made a fool of. Now if you'd excuse me." She nodded a goodbye and made her way around him to leave the room.

'So maybe not a good idea to spring that on her so fast. Who knew she'd know the ropes to daddy dearests business.' William thought to him self as she went to walk past him to get out of the room. He gently grabbed her arm, stopping her from walking away. "And what if your wrong pet?" He asked. "What if I'm not like what you assume me to be?"

Kimara angrily looked down at his hand on her arm then back up into his eyes. "You'd like me to believe that wouldn't you? I'd let you in then in the end I'll be left alone and wounded because I let you deceive me."

With a gentle tug of her arm William brought her closer to him so their bodies were merely centimetres from touching. "I'm not like the others who tried to get to you Kimara. No matter how hard your trying to tell your self I am, I'm not trying to use you. I won't hurt you now and I wont hurt you in the future." He whispered the truth in her ear. He wasn't going to hurt.

Kimara shook her head. When she turned her head back towards his, his face was millimetres away from hers. She could feel his warm breathe on her checks. "Not intentionally." She whispered back, her eyes on his lips. She knew she had to get a hold of her self before she thought anymore about giving in. His hand was burning into her skin, tingling at his touch, and his lips were screaming out to her, screaming that if they met hers they could make all the pain and loneliness and cold melt away until all that was left was need and want.

William could see that Kimara was about to give in. All she needed was just a little more convincing. But the way she was looking at his lips was making it harder and harder for him to concentrate on not just giving into what he knew they both wanted at the moment. He wasn't going to ruining it again. Acting on what he wanted would only prove that she was right, and he didn't want that. He didn't want to be like all the others who took only what they wanted with out caring about anyone else. At least not towards her anyways. He did care about her and what she wanted. When he looked into her eyes and watching her actions he could see that all she wanted was to be loved and cherished. To be the center of somebodies universe. She wanted the kind of love you find in sappy romance novels and chick flick movies. To be held in the tight embrace of the one you love who loves you back just as much. A life long never ending fairy tale love. And he also knew that that was what he wanted to, and that he could give that to her. "No matter how hard somebody tries not to hurt anybody deliberately they always do in the end. The point is that they don't really mean to. Now love, doesn't everybody dissever a chance?"

Kimara looked back up into his eyes. He was right. And with out knowing it he played the one card she couldn't resist. She always believed that every body dissevered a first and second chance, no matter who. "What time?" She asked taking a step back.

Wake me from

This sleep

My slumber

Is too deep

I've been locked away inside

Myself for far to long

This I write

Is my song

My cries for help

No one hears

It doesn't help that

I've cried no tears

While I let my sub conscience take control

I hide away deep inside

Around me are the thick walls

I've built This is where I reside

Untouched and left in the dark

Is where I have been

Someone please tell me if this

Kind of life is a sin

Love is what I seek

Attention as well

Positive that I want to be

Rescued from this hell

tbc
