The Piano

By

Little Black Piano

--

My wooden exterior skin

Hides a softer side within

Opens to a gleaming smile

Won’t you stay with me a while

Run your fingers along my teeth

Go ahead play, hear the softer side of me

Up and down my rows of pearls

Like a dancer, that spins and twirls

Most of what you hear me say

Depends on what you feel today

Either a fast or slow melody

Or a strong and vibrant symphony

Come sit with me a while

And open my gleaming smile

Thanks for reading!
