Ok, this is the sequal to Vampire Kisses, but if you haven't read that, thats fine, i summed everything up here. Oh, and this chapter is mainly a "Filler"ish chapter. It just fills people who haven't read Vampire Kisses yet (VK from now on...and this is VK 2, just so you know) so yeah. Enjoy!!

It must take a lot to get the community used to you if you replaced someone in an important government position

Because you have picked this up, I am assuming you have read about the most important four years of my life. And the most enjoyable, I might add. Incase you haven't well, I'm going to sum it up.

When I was 98 I was having trouble not biting humans' necks. I was also have a problem calling them people or humans. Instead, I called them blood carriers. And it was hard. I couldn't properly concentrate in school, I couldn't hang out with other humans, I could barely go out with guy. Yet I managed. Of course, I was incredibly young, but defiantly not the youngest.

When I was 99, I was given my semi-permanent match, though, later I found out it was not to be. I was going to be matched with Jason, but instead, Lucius, the head Vampire had something completely different in mind. So one day I'm walking to my next class when randomly my watch goes off. So I go outside and get into the black car. So once I'm inside they (the Vampire driver) take me to the head castle. Pretty much the White House for you mortal ones. There I am taken to Lucius himself and am told who my real match will be. It turns out that I am the one he wants his hot son to marry.

Then, when I turned 100, Magnus was still not allowed to talk to me. I had to pretend to be Jason's match, but nothing was ever the same. He could tell that something happened to me when they took me out of school early. And when our match was stated, I was no longer known as Caila Martin, 100-year-old Vampire, but Caila Martin, wife of Magnus and daughter of Lucius. Huge change.

So then, when I turned 101, after spending a year of isolation with Magnus, I have returned back to the real world and must come to senses that Magnus and I are no longer alone and that Vampires have incredibly good hearing. Not easy.

So now, a hundred years have passes. Lucius is still Ruler of Vampires, Magnus is still my true love and Prince of all Vampires and I am still Magnus's true love and Princess of all the Vampires.

So today started out like any other day. I was resting in nothingness which is when you zoom out, let your mind wander. It's sort of like sleeping, but not quite. Of course, that's why Vampires have beds. So Magnus and I were resting when all of a sudden, the Alarm goes off.

The Alarm means that a human has found out about or secret. And that they figured out where the most important Vampires spend their days. And that they have penetrated the building. Not a great morning.

Of course, Magnus being all protective wanted me to go first. "Run, Caila! Run," he kept shouting at me. And I was running. Something like this had only happened once before to me. Then, a Vampire died. It wasn't fun and it was scary. I was terrified and was shaking at Magnus's side. Thankfully it wasn't Noni or Bryanne who had perished. They were my best friends. I wouldn't be able to live if they had died.

So now I knew we were in danger. That Magnus, Lucius, Noni, Bryanne or I could die at any second. So I was running. We passed many doors, went down countless stairs and through hundreds of doorways. But by the time we reached the safe house, it was too full. Because of that, we had to run all the way back. Magnus and I weren't the only ones who didn't fit. Another one of my friends, Rosalie, hadn't made it. So as a group of three we went running as fast as Vampirly possible to the other safe house on the other side of the building. But when we were almost there, She jumped out. She knew where this safe house was. She knew we would be running to it. And she knew how to kill us. Magnus shoved me forward, trying to completely cover me (and failing miserably) while running to the safe house. He would have grabbed Rosalie, but she was between us.

Before Magnus completely closed the door, I heard the final screams of Rosalie of England.
